Scott Fairhurst
Manager of Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS)
Scott Fairhurst serves as Manager of Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) for Valedor Energy. A Certified Safety Professional (CSP) with more than 13 years of experience in the energy industry, he brings a disciplined, risk-based approach and extensive expertise across operational risk management, loss prevention, incident investigation, regulatory compliance, contractor management, and emergency preparedness. Prior to joining Valedor, Scott served as Director of EHS at Encino Energy, where he led environmental, health, and safety programs supporting operations in the Ohio Utica. Previously, he served as Corporate Director of EHS at IES Infrastructure and held safety leadership roles at Chesapeake Energy. Before his corporate tenure, Scott served as a Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear (CBRN) Officer in the Ohio Army National Guard. Scott earned a Master of Science in Occupational Safety and Health/Environmental Management from Columbia Southern University, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Emergency Management and Homeland Security and an Associate of Applied Science in Fire Protection Technology from The University of Akron.
