Brett Williams serves as Vice President of Accounting of Valedor Energy. He brings over two decades of industry experience spanning private equity-backed startups, large-scale asset acquisitions, complex corporate transactions, and operations accounting. Prior to joining Valedor, Brett served as Senior Director and Controller of Operations Accounting at Encino Energy, where he built the operations accounting function from the ground up, developed financial reporting infrastructure, and led cross-functional teams to support a rapidly scaling asset base. During his tenure, he also played a key role in the company’s operational growth and supported the successful $5.6 billion sale of Encino to EOG Resources. Previously, Brett held progressively senior roles at Sabine Oil & Gas, where he managed multi-disciplinary accounting teams and supported major corporate events, including a reverse merger, restructuring, and system transformations. Brett earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from McNeese State University.
